Serving Size: 1 ½ oz


4 oz fat free cream cheese

fresh cilantro leaves and parsley sprigs for garnish

1 tsp NutriFit Calypso Salt Free Spice Blend

2 cups reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded

3 oz reduced fat spiced cream cheese

2 tsp sesame seds, toasted

2 drops Tabasco sauce

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 med apple, cut into wedges

5 stalks celery, cut into short sticks


Note – For each teaspoon of the Calypso Spice Blend, you may substitute: 1/2 tsp. ground chiles, 1/4 tsp. cumin, 1/8 tsp. black pepper, and 1/8 tsp. garlic powder.

  1. Combine the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and spiced cream cheese in the work bowl of a food processor. Process until smooth.
  2. Add the Worcestershire sauce, Calypso blend and Tabasco sauce and process with short bursts to blend. Taste for seasoning. Remove the mixture from the work bowl, and place on waxed paper.
  3. Form the resulting mixture into a log and roll it in the toasted sesame seeds, using the waxed paper to help roll the log or ball. Refrigerate until ready to serve, then garnish with fresh cilantro and fresh parsley. If desired, you can roll the log in Grape Nuts instead of the seeds, or a combination of both seeds and cereal.
